Associated Projects - Guildhall Update 1

All of the composers for the project have been working on our percussion pieces for a few weeks now. We had all previously seen a DVD of the performance, filmed a while back in a rehearsal space in Montreal, but today was the first time that we all saw Solo 30x30 performed live and in public. It's been incredibly helpful for our work to meet and discuss ideas and concepts with Paul-André. To see his dance in its intended urban context was a real thrill. With not much time left before we have to complete our compositions, the experience of seeing and talking with this brilliant and charming dancer has really given us something to aspire to... and we're all going to be there at Liverpool Street watching it many more times in the next weeks!
